Trip 2, Hint 4: Where in the world is Carrie and Charles Thorlitzer?

Time for the last hint:

Hint #1: I'm located north of Singapore

Hint #2: I'm an Island

Hint #3: I lie in the Indian Ocean
(sort of a tricky hint as mutiple sea's are part of the Indian Ocean...I know, I know, not fair)
Hint #4: The capital of my state, is Georgetown and is on this Island

Go find yourself a world map and figure out where this is. Take a guess if you want and come back tomorrow to see the next hint which will be slightly more specific.
