Trip 2, Hint 1: Where in the world is Carrie and Charles Thorlitzer?

It's your favorite time again....We've planned another trip. Rather than telling you where headed, we're going to give you 4 clues on 4 consecutive days to guess the location and jog your geographic memory back to the 4th grade.  Go find yourself a world map and figure out where this is.  Good luck.

Hint #1: I'm located north of Singapore

Of course there are hints that I could give that would not require a world map, but that would make googling so much easier for you. Hint 1 is the most vague and hint 4 the most specific. Take a guess if you want and come back tomorrow to see the next hint which will be slightly more specific.

Note: this is the next trip we've booked, not necessarily the next place we'll be traveling to chronologically.
