Woo Hooo You CAN hear me now!

You can now welcome us into the world of cell phones again. We promoted ourselves from just regular cell phones and got smart phones. As we are new to iPhones, we are still learning how to use them, but at least we have them. It took 4 trips to SingTel but we now have them.  Success!!!

We learned that here is really is pay to play. Examples are:
if you want voicemail, that's an extra $5 a month charge, if you want caller ID, that's an extra $5 a month even if they are already in your addresss book; you are not allowed to downgrade your plans until your 2 year contract is up. Upgrade yes, downgrade no.

Luckily Agilent has a corporate plan here and we were able to sign up with that which gave us 3 months free caller id (oh gee thanks), 24 months voicemail, 10% off monthly plan rate and the set up and SIM card charges were waived.
Wow I'm so glad we are done with that mess. In fact we had to take photos of our new mobile phones. See below:
